The News of the day and the week and the year revolves around the mission impossible victory of the New England Patriots.

The parade in downtown Boston on Tuesday was huge, just huge, and the continuing celebration will be just that – continuing for some time.

Congratulations to all who contributed to bring a long awaited championship to the New England area.

…………

Walpole Mall undergoes an internal expansion.

Just one year ago, the anchor store in the Walpole Mall, Bradlees’, closed their doors and shut down their operations in this area.

Since that time, the facility has been dormant.

Now, we look ahead to April when a new anchor store opens for business. Kohl’s, a Wisconsin based retail chain, plans to open its store in the area vacated by Bradlees’.

And, so, Kohl’s is looking for employees to staff that store and other retail centers in the New England area.

Here in the Boston area, Kohl’s will open stores in Burlington, Chelmsford, Hingham, Medford, Milford, North Andover, Pembroke, Woburn, and Walpole. These are the old Bradlees’ stores.

Local folks looking for employment can contact the store at the Mall this week and anticipate a job fair next week.

This re-opening of an anchor store in the Walpole mall can be a positive symbol of new energy in the area.

……………..

Once again, we salute our football heroes and look ahead to the baseball season with renewed enthusiasm.
