Unsolved Homicides Continued

The bizarre and the violent often are intertwined.

And, thus, the strange story of a grisly murder has been detailed in court this week.

A former Walpole resident, Gregory Wall, now living in Quincy, was arraigned in Quincy District Court on Monday.

Wall is charged with the murder of Catherine Menkello. According to the prosecutors, Wall met Menkello at a local pub and invited her to his apartment.

The details of the subsequent murder of Menkello are too violent to describe. It is sufficient to say that the story is one of exaggerated violence.

Another aspect of this story is that the grisly details are not wholly dissimilar to the manner in which Irene Kennedy was murdered in Bird Park on Dec. 1, 1998.

Therefore, the question has been raised about the possibility of Wall being implicated in the current ‘Unsolved’ murder of Kennedy in 1998. The immediate question is the whereabouts of Gregory wall on the early morning hours of Dec. 1, 1998.

Obviously, the District Attorney will decide if there is sufficient cause to investigate this possibility of a link and seek a court order for a DNA match.

The bizarre and the violent are intertwined.

Stay tuned for further news on this story.
