| Why
won't a $3.7 million override bring us close to the average? The
answer is that we are so far behind already. A $3.7 million override
will clearly help but will not even bring us to the average level of
comparable towns. $3.7 is a compromise! |

| Compared
to comparable towns (similar population and household income)
Walpole ranks in the bottom 23% in per pupil expenditures and the
bottom 12% in fire expenses per capita. A $3.7 million override will
not even bring us close to the average!!! |

Walpole has taken, makes the need for a $3.7 million overrride ob |

| The
loss in services will not only detract from the value of your home
but the cost to replace such lost services may cost more than the
tax increase itself (and the taxes are deductible). |

| The
increase in the value of the home that the override will create will
more than pay for any increase in taxes. This is a clear win-win! |
